The new Apprenticeship Levy comes into force in April 2017, directly impacting businesses with a wage bill exceeding £3m, with implications for any growing business.

On Thursday 17th March the Business Growth Hub will host a business breakfast event at Salford Innovation Forum, 51 Frederick Road in Salford which will provide clarity on how this government policy will take effect.

Delegates will learn:
• How businesses in Greater Manchester will be impacted by the apprenticeship levy and what their peers are planning in advance of the policy
• The opportunities for talent management, succession planning and diversification of workforce which the levy brings to all businesses.
This event offers the opportunity to hear about the policy change and ask questions to a panel of experts.

Speakers include:

Richard Jeffery, Director of Business Growth, Business Growth Hub
Simon Nokes, Managing Director, New Economy
John Myers, Head of Employer & Delivery, Skills Funding Agency
Liz Gorb, Director of Apprenticeships, Manchester Metropolitan University
Judith Furlong, Sector Director Financial & Professional Services, The Skills Company
