Why take part in our Spark2Scale programme?

Do you look at an obstacle, but see opportunity instead? Our Spark2Scale programme is perfect for aspiring, ambitious early-stage scale-up businesses across Greater Manchester who are ready to grow at pace.

The impact of creating more scale-up businesses could be huge. To put things into perspective, the Scaleup Institute reports that an increase of just one percent in the country-wide scale-up population could drive an additional 238,000 jobs and add £38bn to the economy within three years!

75% of the UK economy is comprised of SME businesses. You make a huge contribution.

We've got two cohorts coming up early next year. These workshops will be delivered in person and held at premium locations in central Manchester.

Our next cohort begins on 2nd February 2023, with the additional sessions held on 9th February and 16th February.

After this the next cohort begins on 27th April 2023, with the additional session held on 11th May and 18th May.

Who's the Spark2Scale programme for?

Spark to Scale is open to B2B/B2C businesses in Greater Manchester that have been trading for less than 3 years. Your business must have already demonstrated 20 percent year-on-year growth or be able to demonstrate realistic projections to do so, along with ambitions to achieve £250k revenue within 3 years of trading.

To make the leap from start-up to scale-up can be difficult. You need consistent and strongly defined ways of working. The Spark 2 Scale programme hones your entrepreneurial skills so that you can take your business to the next level.

About the Spark2Scale programme

As a participant of GC Business Growth Hub’s Spark 2 Scale programme, you will be nurtured whilst learning new skills that will empower you to drive your business forward, including how to increase your sales and maximise your profitability.

You are learning from thought leaders who have many years’ expertise and experience and are at the cutting edge of the Greater Manchester economy. A mixture of Hub advisors and selected trainers from industry will impart knowledge to you that is invaluable. You will also make fantastic connections that could help elevate your business.
