Digital Skills for Female Entrepreneurs
The Business Growth Hub and Connecting Cheshire are excited to announce the Eveolution Closing Conference, held to celebrate the conclusion of Eveolution, the digital skills programme for female entrepreneurs.
Join us for a day of interactive workshops, inspiring speakers and discussion around the themes of female entrepreneurship and the role of digital as a driver for growth in business.
Keynote: In Confidence...How does confidence affect your business?
We're delighted to present Hazel Carter-Showell as out keynote speaker. Hazel is founding Director of business psychology firm CarterCorson. Hazel will be delivering a provocative keynote on the impact confidence can have on female entrepreneurship - focusing on 'imposter syndrome', and how this can stifle growth.
Workshop: From brief to delivery - how to work with digital suppliers
Andy Culbert from creative agency MERó will run a hands-on practical session on working with digital suppliers, offering candid advice and arming you with some industry know-how to help your projects run more smoothly.
Masterclasses
Interactive workshops will run throughout the day, with particular highlights including sessions on unlocking digital as a tool for productivity, the impact branding has on your business, and how to create a crowdfunding campaign.
Panel Discussion
Broadcaster and entrepreneur Nikki Dean will host a panel discussion on some provocative themes – including the gender pay gap, proportional representation on boards, and what flexible working means for modern families.
Digi:Lab
We will also be running Digi:Lab, an exploratory space where you can try out some new technologies, visit our social media surgery, receive 1-2-1 advice with digital specialists, and even have a go at programming a robot!
