Meet the Powerup team

The Power Up team members are Ian Dixon and Hoi Mach. Both are advisers with experience in the digital creative and technology sectors. They are heading up the new Powerup workshops, the first of which is on Monday, 29th April, with more planned. Here are the teams backgrounds and experience, showing why they are part of the Powerup workshops. 

Ian Dixon is a highly experienced, results-focused, and analytical Digital Growth Specialist with experience of both private and public sector businesses. He has supported businesses ranging from pre-revenue startup to enterprise businesses trading internationally.

His role within the Power Up team allows him to use his range of experience and knowledge to help grow the Greater Manchester economy and ecosystem.

Hoi Mach has a background in Digital Marketing. He started his career working on the agency side before setting up his own business specialising in paid search and lead generation. Most recently, he worked in-house for the UK’s largest specialist family law firm, where he strategised and rolled out a conversation rate optimisation framework.

Within the Powerup team he can use his time as his own boss and his other experience to help Greater Manchester businesses.

The dynamic workshop offers insights from sector specialists, who will provide a range of useful tools and strategies to assist you in your journey for growth.
