The Government's Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) is organising two free workshops to discuss energy efficiency in SMEs, held in London on 30 January (9:00 – 12:00) and Manchester on 3 February (13:30 – 16:30).
The workshops will allow you to share your thoughts on implementing energy measures in SMEs and give you a chance to influence Government thinking on potential support options.
Each workshop will explore the barriers preventing SMEs from taking up energy efficiency measures and discuss the kinds of support Government could provide to help seize energy efficiency opportunities, reduce energy costs and cut out unnecessary waste.
Places are limited. If you would like to register your interest for either the London or Manchester workshop, please click on the link below.
Who should attend?
DECC would like to talk to a variety of SMEs across different sectors: whether you have considered installing energy efficiency measures or not, whether you own or rent your premises, and no matter the size of your business or how energy intensive it is.
Energy efficiency measures can include improving the fabric of your building, changing equipment, or even influencing your staff’s behaviour around energy use.
