Location: The Landing - Media City, Salford
Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Theme: Business Strategy
This session is hosted by Salford Local Authority & the content is supplied by a specialist financial partner and Ian Dixon, Senior Advisor & Team Leader, GC BGH Access to Finance (A2F) Team. We are running a series of sessions to support businesses to be as prepared as they can, supporting their planning and helping SMEs to consider specific aspects of their business and how a no-deal Brexit may affect them. If the UK leaves the EU without a negotiated deal, we may be entering a period of economic uncertainty. There is a multitude of conflicting forecasts in the media and a business may not know where to start in terms of planning for change. A2F will highlight effective proven strategies and techniques for raising finance in a challenging economic climate.
The session will focus on 3 key areas:
- Key elements critical to investment readiness
- Developing an appropriate funding strategy
- Pitching your investment proposition
Our specialist partner, along with the GC Business Growth Hub will run through risks that businesses may want to consider as part of their Brexit planning, including practical steps to take.
