The Skills Development Service focuses on the core skills that support success in all roles and at all levels.

Training is available across a range of practical workplace skills, including communication, numbers and data, digital and AI, ESOL, Microsoft Excel and more.

Our team will help identify the most suitable training opportunities for your needs.

There is no cost to access the Skills Development Service or the training opportunities available through the programme.

Thanks to funding from Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), eligible organisations and individuals can access support and training free of charge.

Our Skills Development Service is available to:

  • SMEs

  • Public sector organisations
  • Charity, voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations (VCFSEs)
  • Greater Manchester residents aged 19+ who are employed, volunteering or undertaking unpaid work

Organisations must have a trading address or registered base within Greater Manchester.
Individuals must have the right to work in the UK.
