In this dynamic half day workshop, you will explore ways to improve your sales, stand out in a crowded market and increase productivity through the use of various social media platforms.
Creative businesses are operating in an increasingly crowded market.
For organisations working in the creative industries, social media is no longer just a marketing channel. It’s where credibility is built, audiences are grown, and clients decide who stands out.
At the same time, budgets are tightening. Lower-end work is being absorbed in-house, production quality expectations are shifting, and many businesses are either under-using social media or posting without a clear strategy.
This session is designed to help creative businesses cut through that noise. It focuses on how to:
-
Stand out clearly in a saturated market
-
Use social media strategically (not performatively) - especially Instagram and TikTok
-
Attract the right audiences. Whether clients, commissioners or new colleagues.
-
Translate creative skills into content that drives growth
The training is practical, strategic and rooted in the reality of running a creative business, not trends for the sake of it.
By the end of the session, participants will:
-
Have clarity on how to position themselves clearly in a crowded creative market
-
Understand what standing out actually looks like, especially on Instagram and TikTok, for their sector
-
Be clearer on who they are trying to reach and what those audiences care about
-
Know how to use short-form video strategically, even with limited time and budget
-
Feel more confident using social media as a tool for growth, not an added burden
-
Leave with practical ideas they can apply immediately
This session is not about chasing trends or turning everyone into content creators. It’s about helping creative businesses use social media intentionally in a way that supports their wider business goals
