Power Up Event 2026

An interactive workshop for early stage DCT businesses to transform the way your company approaches growth. By attending this session you will:

  • Understanding your Value Proposition and key Competing Factors within your sector.

  • Understand brand story and how to frame your messaging in a way that customers feel understood and supported which builds trust, strengthens loyalty and helps you generate more enquiries.

  • Explore how you can convey your messaging to your target market and to optimise this to achieve the results you want.

 

Following the session, attendees will:

  • Come away with a series of specific growth strategies that can help them to plan for growth and stability.

  • Understand their position in their specific sector and will be able to see gaps and opportunities in the market.

  • Be able to clearly see areas for improvement in their client facing collateral.

 

Bio of deliverers:

Hoi Mach has a background in Digital Marketing. He started his career working on the agency side before setting up his own business specialising in paid search and lead generation. Most recently, he worked in-house for the UK’s largest specialist family law firm, where he strategised and rolled out a conversation rate optimisation framework.

Ian Dixon is a highly experienced, results-focused, and analytical Digital Growth Specialist with experience of both private and public sector businesses. He has supported businesses ranging from pre-revenue start-up to enterprise businesses trading internationally.

Jonathan Broadley has over 15 years’ experience leading sales and marketing in B2B organisations, working across growth-stage and established businesses. He has held senior in-house roles and now helps business leaders to improve their sales and marketing strategy to attract and engage clients, and drive revenue.

 

Eligibility:

  • Trading businesses in the Digital, Creative & Tech sectors with a registered / trading adddress in the Greater Manchester Area

  • Micro business, small and medium-sized enterprise, or large business (No sole traders)

  • Social enterprises where these engage in economic activity.

  • Minimum of 1 FTE (No sole traders)

  • Must be looking to grow their business and team

  • Types of business: SaaS / IT / Cyber Security / App builders / Videographers and Editors / Creative and digital agencies / Gaming developers / Tech platforms

As this workshop is fully-funded, businesses are subject to funders' eligibility criteria. If your place is confirmed, you will receive an email from us with further details.
