This workshop will cover an introduction to wellbeing strategies, what they should cover and the benefits of a wellbeing strategy for a business and their workforce.


In this session aimed at business leaders, we will cover topics relating to wellbeing strategies outlined below:

  • An introduction to wellbeing and a wellbeing strategy
  • What a wellbeing strategy should/could include?
  • The benefits of implementing a wellbeing strategy for your business and workforce

The sessions will bring together like minded individuals who are keen to understand the topic in further detail. Attendees can expect an interactive session with several breakout activities with peer-to-peer discussions.

Real-life examples will be discussed on the day – organisation confidentially can be accommodated if preferred.

Attendees can expect to come away from the session with a better understanding of how a wellbeing strategy can not only help their workforce but also their business.

Meet Your Trainer

Emma Connolly’s role is to engage, support and guide businesses in improving the wellbeing of their workforce and leaders, ensuring they have the tools required to implement or enhance their existing wellbeing strategy.

Prior to joining the GM Business Growth Hub, she spent two years as Culture and Wellbeing Lead for a large Greater Manchester-based organisation, developing strategies that addressed the varied needs of a workforce that was spread across multiple business units.

Originally from Australia, Emma moved to Manchester in 2014, and honed her organisational and stakeholder management skills while working as a PA for senior management in various private sector business.


The session is targeted at business leaders and those with the capacity to make decisions in regards to workforce wellbeing.
