Financial Foundations for Start‑Ups: Pricing, Cashflow and Getting Paid

Financial Foundations for Start‑Ups
Pricing, Cashflow and Getting Paid

As you turn your business idea into reality, financial planning gets more important and can feel more complicated. Many people have early questions about pricing and managing money, and it’s not always obvious where to begin.

This 2-hour online workshop covers three key financial basics for building a successful business. Learning these early helps you set up routines, make decisions more easily, and reduce risk as you grow.

  • Cashflow: See how money moves in and out of your business, and learn how to plan ahead to check if your ideas or income streams are realistic and sustainable.

  • Pricing: Discover how to set prices that cover your costs, time, and value, while making sure your business earns a profit.

  • Getting paid: Gain confidence with invoicing and payments, and set up simple processes early to help you get paid on time.

The session uses a clear, practical style and keeps things simple. Whether you’re still working on your plans or starting to focus on sales, you’ll leave feeling more confident about managing money and setting up easy systems to support your business as it grows.

What you’ll take away:

  • A clearer understanding of how to price your products or services with confidence

  • Practical guidance on forecasting income and costs so you can plan realistically

  • A stronger, more comfortable approach to invoicing and getting paid

  • Insight into how tracking finances leads to better decision‑making
