The Landing is located at MediaCityUK Blue Tower and spans approximately 53,000 sq ft across floors 2-7 and has a dedicated ground floor reception. The overall footprint of The Landing combines studio and lab services with high value managed workspace. The Landing is funded from European Regional Development Fund, Department for Business Innovation and Skills and Salford City Council.

Studio and Lab Facilities

The Landing is organised into three operational areas:

  • The Landing Post - a post production facility comprising ingest, 10 edit suites, management office and client breakout area.
  • The Digital Workflow Centre - a near-market test facility comprising 4 dedicated workshop labs, Comms/Server room, Technical store, client technical support spaces and breakout areas.
  • The Interactive Media Labs - a dedicated usability testing facility for games technologies, connected and smart TV technologies and product analytics. There are 3 usability labs and 1 10-seater console testing area. Each of these operational areas is fully equipped and managed by separate industry specialists each with their own operating teams and technical staff.

Meeting and Event Spaces

Supporting SME activity in the three operational areas, The Landing has a series of high-value meeting and event spaces across several floors fully equipped with AV and telephony.


The Landing has approximately 16,500sq ft of managed workspace offices and will be seeking to attract SME tenants to these spaces. Tenants at The Landing will be offered a connectivity package for internet, data services and telephony.

The Media Lounge

Floor 7 contains a state of the art private members business lounge, On the 7th, comprising bar, coffee shop, and dedicated meeting rooms. On the same floor and connected to the media lounge The Landing has a Soho-style screening room and a conference area for 120+ people.

The media lounge is connected to the central comms/server room several floors below and the screening room is directly linked to The Landing Post several floors below. The lounge itself is managed by a separate operator with dedicated staff teams.
