Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity is an independent charity who officially launched in 2019. We believe homelessness has no place here in Greater Manchester. To make that vision a reality, we bring businesses, communities and people together to raise vital funds so that we can pioneer new ideas and champion promising practice.

 

We are a founding funder of the unrivalled emergency response scheme for rough sleeping, A Bed Every Night, and also deliver grants that can help stop homelessness before it becomes a reality. As a place-based funder, at the centre of a network of activity and action to tackle homelessness in Greater Manchester, we work closely with our partners to maximise the impact of the funds we invest.

 

Since our launch, we have raised more than £3.1m through corporate partnerships, fundraising events and campaigns, community fundraising and individual giving.
