Cut waste and costs with fully-funded Eco-FORCE business support programme

GC Business Growth Hub is offering fully-funded support to businesses that want to improve the environmental impact of their products, create a more profitable business model and increase their competitive advantage. 

Eco-FORCE is a 3 day in-person programme in Trafford Park that will guide business leaders step-by-step towards new ‘eco’ commercial opportunities, equipping businesses with the tools to eliminate waste and grow. 

Starting in March 2023, these brand-new sessions are fully funded (meaning there’s no fee to pay) and are fine-tuned to the challenges faced by businesses in Greater Manchester.  

With further change coming fast, as net zero deadlines approach and the drive towards the circular economy intensifies, there’s never been a better time to stop and think how your business is going to adapt. 

Each of the 3-day sessions are for a small cohort of no more than 10 business leaders, giving the opportunity to network with other local businesses in a non-competitive environment. Each module is delivered by an experienced eco-innovation specialist from GC Business Growth Hub. 

What Businesses get out of the programme  

By the end of the Eco-FORCE programme, businesses will have the tools they need to enhance the environmental performance and competitiveness of goods or services and capitalise on growth opportunities. 

Whatever their size, businesses that embrace innovation are more likely to experience improved turnover, productivity and competitiveness than those that don’t. 

GC Business Growth Hub’s innovation service has already provided support to more than 3,000 SMEs across Greater Manchester, helping them to turn business ideas and opportunities into sales. 

Their experienced eco-innovation advisors offer support that is tailored to businesses, tackling barriers from lack of finance or specialist know-how, to time, technology, strategy or even appropriate facilities. 

Eligibility criteria 

• This programme is open to business-to-business SMEs based in Greater Manchester (SME = fewer than 250 employees. 
•  Have an annual turnover less than 50 million euros, balance sheet less than 43 million euros
