What is the Manufacturing Directory?

The Manufacturing Directory is an exclusive directory available to manufacturers in the North West. Here, manufacturers can connect with fellow manufacturers, suppliers and distributors in the community. This directory is designed to (only) be used by manufacturing businesses. This will help you and other manufacturing growth makers access the right connections and prevent consultancies canvassing you.

What is the Big Question?

This feature asks you (growth makers in the manufacturing community) what topic you would like to know more about in your sector. You can vote on the topic most relevant to you. Once the results are in, the topic is answered by leading academics and industry leaders. We then publish the answers and insights in the Big Question area of the network; this is exclusive content, accessible to members only.

Who are the Manufacturing Champions?

The Greater Manchester Manufacturing Champions Network has been established to provide ambitious manufacturing executives of small and medium manufacturing businesses personal access to the leaders of the best in the business.

What is the Knowledge Exchange?

The Knowledge Exchange is currently an exclusive feature to the Innovation Network. It's a community exchange for innovative growth makers to ask questions to fellow innovators in the community.

Asking a question: Within the Knowledge Exchange you can write and submit a question. Your question is then moderated by the Business Growth Hub team. When approved, your question is submitted to the Innovation community via private email. All answers are only accessible to the user who asked the question, meaning only you and the responder will see the exchange.

Answering questions: When accessing the Knowledge Exchange, you will be presented with the latest questions asked by the community. Any answers you submit are privately shared between you and the original inquirer. Once a question has been sufficiently answered, the inquirer marks it answered and it's removed from the Exchange.
