Hub’s manufacturing excellence courses in full flow
4 April 2022
Dates are now set for the next cohort of our popular Made for Manufacturing programme, plus two new training courses developed for production leaders and lean champions in Greater Manchester.
SME manufacturers within the city region can now choose from three fully-funded training programmes designed to embed manufacturing excellence and a culture of learning across their business. They include:
Made for Manufacturing
Aimed at senior decision makers, this popular seven-week programme is delivered in the format of short dynamic workshops designed for immediate implementation in the workplace. Next cohort starting on 28 April 2022.
Production Leader
Developed for line managers and production managers, Production Leader is a new, five-part online training course designed to help managers develop the leadership skills they need to drive forward a culture of learning in their organisation. Starting on 27 April 2022.
Lean Champion
A new training course designed specifically for those taking on the role of continuous improvement specialist in their organisation, delivered in-person over two days of hands-on training and interactive games. Starting on 10 May 2022.
The announcement of new course dates comes after a hugely successful ‘Lean for SMEs’ event on 24 March (pictured), delivered by renowned lean expert and Director of TXM Lean Solutions, Tim McLean.
The fully-booked session was one of the first opportunities since the pandemic for many manufacturing leaders to meet new peers and share learning in person. A free copy of Tim McLean’s book Grow Your Factory, Grow Your Profits is given to every delegate on the Made for Manufacturing programme.
