Take part in The Manufacturer’s 2020 survey

Manufacturers of all sizes are encouraged to take part in The Manufacturer’s Annual Manufacturing Report survey, which gauges attitudes to key issues facing the sector in the UK.
The survey takes just 10 minutes to complete and is split into five different sections:
- Smart Factory Technologies
- Data and Cybersecurity
- Finance and Investment
- People and Skills
- Business Transformation.
The Business Transformation section is new to the survey for 2020 and is sponsored by GC Business Growth Hub partner PwC.
The 2019 Annual Manufacturing Report, published in February last year, focused on Government Policy and Industrial Strategy, Financing Investment, Skills and Training, Growth and Exports, and Smart Factories.
Key findings included 81 per cent of manufacturers saying they were ready to invest in new digital technologies to boost productivity; 57 per cent believing the education system needed a total overhaul; and 66 per cent saying British people did not understand the importance of manufacturing to the national economy.
The 2020 survey closes on 26 January and the final report will be published in February. Participants will receive a free print copy and 6-month membership to The Manufacturer magazine.
