All the winners at the Made in the North West 2018 awards

The awards celebrated firms from Greater Manchester as well as Inovus Medical, who received support from Liverpool's Local Growth Hub and the Manufacturing Growth Fund.

The best of the North West's manufacturing sector were celebrated at Insider's 2018 Made in the North West Awards.

The awards recognised two businesses from Greater Manchester, with Wigan based roof manufacturers G&B North West winning the Innovation award, and Bolton's Carrs Pasties winning the Food and Drink award.

The Green/Sustainable manufacturer award was won by James Cropper, a large manufacturing firm, who worked with Enworks on their resource efficiency strategy.

One of the Manufacturing Growth Fund's clients Inovus Medical were awarded the Collaboration Award recognising the work they have done in supplying equipment to Cameroon and the Gaza Strip via the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Medical Aid for Palestine and Medtroni project.
