Manufacturers invited to enter Made in the North West Awards

The Insider Made in the North West Awards 2018 will celebrate the best in manufacturing at a ceremony in May 2018, and manufacturers are invited to submit their entry now.

The Made in the North West awards are in their sixth year and provide an opportunity to highlight the talent and enterprising manufacturing skills that the region has to offer.

Last year’s winners included Siemens, Jaguar Land Rover, Slingco, Magnesium Elektron, Milliken, Linco, Laila’s Fine Foods, Crawford Healthcare, Evoke Creative and WEC Group.


There is no cost to entering the awards and there are eleven categories:

• Digital Engineering / Technology Award
• Supply Chain Award
• Manufacturing Innovation Award
• Automotive Award
• Export Award
• Food & Drink Award
• Green / Sustainable Manufacturer Award
• Manufacturing Apprenticeship / Training Scheme Award
• Collaboration Award
• Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m)
• Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m)

The deadline for entries is Friday 23rd February. The award winners will be revealed at the black tie awards dinner on Thursday 10 May 2018 at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester.

The regional award winners will automatically become finalists in the annual national awards - Made in the UK, where the best of British manufacturing will be commended.
