Industry 4.0 Summit returns to Manchester

Hosted in Manchester – the world’s first industrial city with the first factories and the first industrial estate – Industry 4.0 Summit will be UK’s largest gathering of solution providers, innovators and technology buyers looking to get ready for this step-change in global manufacturing.

The Business Growth Hub, part of The Growth Company, is delighted to be attending the second Industry 4.0 Summit and Factories of the Future Expo on Wednesday 28 February and Thursday 1 March – an event dedicated to the future of manufacturing.

Comprising an exhibition, conference and networking opportunities, Industry 4.0 Summit is not to be missed.

Day One includes keynote addresses from Government and industry leaders, plus the implementation of robotics applications, personalised supply chains and technology-driven disruption. Day Two covers the implementation of industry 4.0 projects, including three great examples of deployment by manufacturing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The Summit closes with a wide-ranging debate on the broader impact of Industry 4.0 on manufacturing and the wider economy, with the Hub's Manufacturing Services Manager, Anne Campion, amongst the panellists.

Factories of the Future Expo

What will the new factory look like? Technology is moving fast – what will industrial production look like 10-20 years from now? How will current factories compete with new factories that use next generation communication systems and concepts?

Comprising a dedicated exhibition and a series of free seminars – the Open Technology Forum – the Factories of the Future Expo will allow factory owners, plant managers and manufacturing heads to discover the latest smart technologies and services available for them to successfully compete for the next 20 years of production.
