Watch this short video for a full overview of the programme:
Peer Networks is a national programme, which is funded by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and is delivered in Greater Manchester by GC Business Growth Hub.
Peer Networks gives you the opportunity to talk to likeminded people – we all share common issues, there’s no need to reinvent the wheel, so get involved!Martin Shepherd, Operations Director, JA Harrison & Co Ltd
Manufacturing Peer Networks is a one-off programme bringing together the sector’s senior figures in an online network.
The network consists of 11 senior managers, directors, founders and owners from the manufacturing SME community and is led by a professional facilitator. The group will usually meet online once a fortnight, over a three-month period, to discuss a series of common business challenges.
All topics discussed in the sessions are selected by the individuals in the group, as they work together to create tangible solutions in a collaborative, confidential and non-competitive environment.
Individual one-to-one support will also be provided to help to implement and manage change within each individual business.
More than 300 SMEs in Greater Manchester have already been through the Peer Networks programme. Here’s how manufacturers can benefit:
Learn from – and inform – your manufacturing peers: Find solutions to the real issues your business is facing by working with other local business leaders facing similar challenges. Pass on the benefits of your knowledge / experience and form new lasting connections.
All it takes is your time: Peer Networks is a fully-funded programme, and all it takes is a few hours of your time each month. You can join virtual sessions from the comfort of your home or workplace.
