ECO FAIR, the annual environmental business expo organised by the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, will be held in Leeds on 18 June.
Now in its sixth year, the all-day event is one of the largest environmental expos in the North of England and is set to attract around 1,000 visitors.
The aim of ECO FAIR is to inspire businesses to change and help them to find green business solutions to everyday problems. Delegates will be able to learn about the products and services available to help improve environmental performance and cut costs, as well as network with leading environmental experts and attend seminar sessions.
The speaker programme, which is yet to be announced, has traditionally focused on four key topics: energy saving, waste reduction, green transport and motivating change.
According to the Yorkshire Chamber’s figures, 76 per cent of delegates who attended ECO FAIR in 2014 said they felt “more confident about tackling environmental issues” and 81 per cent of exhibitors reported making additional sales by attending.
The majority of attendees are expected to be SMEs, with senior-decision makers expected to make up 43 per cent of delegates.
The event will be held at Centenary Pavillion in Leeds on 18 June 2015.
Further details are set to be announced in due course. For more information, including opportunities for exhibiting and sponsorship, visit the ECO FAIR website.
