When and how do you travel to work?

Transport for Greater Manchester is calling on businesses and organisations to take part in an online survey to explore working patterns and when people travel to work across the city region.

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is calling on businesses and organisations to take part in an online survey to explore working patterns and when people travel to work across the city region.

The survey will feed into Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham’s Congestion Deal, which aims to improve how people travel to and from work.

TfGM is particularly interested in whether businesses or their employees have a set working time or are allowed to work more flexibly, both in terms of hours and location.

With lots of different working patterns expected, it is hoped that understanding when and why people are working and travelling to work will help TfGM and the mayor support improved travel.

The survey is split into two; one to be completed by HR managers at organisations, and another to be completed by employees.

Each survey should take no more than 10 minutes, and all those completing the employee version will be entered into a prize draw. The first prize is £250, with three runners-up prizes of £100 in the form of high street shopping vouchers.

The deadline for completing the survey is 2pm on Wednesday 19 December.
