The UK’s premier annual sustainable construction and refurbishment event, the Greenbuild Expo, is now open for registrations for its 2015 event in Manchester on 10-11 November 2015.
The free conference and exhibition offers expert advice on making buildings greener and more sustainable and will coincide with the inaugural Buildings and Energy Efficiency Awards (BEE), which has been introduced to celebrate outstanding energy performance in commercial buildings.
The event is being supporting by a number of leading organisations in the sustainable building sector, including the National Energy Foundation (NEF), the University of Salford, Schneider Electric and global construction materials specialist, Saint-Gobain.
Workshops and seminars
Across the two-day conference, delegates will have access to over 70 workshops and seminars, with more than 100 expert exhibitors covering areas such as:
- Ethical specification and resourcing of sustainable materials
- Zero carbon buildings
- Building Information Modelling (BIM)
- Passivhaus buildings
- Government energy efficiency schemes and legislation
- How to win business by improving sustainability
- Accessing green funding.
The main feature at the event will be the ‘Future Cities Zone’, developed in association with the Future Cities Catapult. It will focus on what cities and buildings could be like in the future and how to overcome challenges such as energy and resource scarcity, rising populations and urban security.
Greenbuild Expo 2015 and the co-located BEE Awards will be held at Manchester Central in Manchester city centre on 10-11 November. To register for a place, click here.
