Bri-Tek Technologies is crediting GC Business Growth Hub’s Low Carbon Network for a string of contract awards, including an office lighting upgrade in Trafford which achieved 70 per cent energy savings.
Bri-Tek Technologies is an LED lighting, infrared heating and emergency lighting company, offering a a full spectrum of low carbon lighting and heating solutions for the commercial, industrial and domestic sectors.
Founded in 2010, the company continues to capitalise on the rapid growth of the low carbon lighting and heating markets, thanks in part to its fruitful relationship with Greater Manchester’s GC Business Growth Hub.
Bri-Tek has been working with specialist low carbon sector advisors at the Hub for many years, receiving support for developing new products, increasing its service offering and boosting sales.
As a member of the Hub’s virtual Low Carbon Network - an online platform of more than 250 green technologies and services firms in Greater Manchester - Bri-Tek has been able to connect with new businesses and promote its services in the local supply chain.
Mohammed Hanslod, director of Bri-Tek, explained: “Being a member of the Low Carbon Network provides us with weekly opportunities both nationally and locally, specific to our products and services. It’s a good way to connect with local businesses and we are now working on a number of lighting and heating projects as a result.”
Trafford Park upgrade
Through the Network, Bri-Tek has successfully completed multiple LED lighting upgrades across Greater Manchester, including Warren Bruce Court - a 38,000 sq ft. office space in Trafford Park owned by The Growth Company, GC Business Growth Hub’s parent company.
The upgrade helped Warren Bruce Court to reduce its annual electricity bill by nearly £2,700, a 70 per cent saving. The investment paid back within 23 months, and with no lighting failures since installation, maintenance costs have been slashed to zero.
Bri-Tek continues to work with GC Business Growth Hub and is now looking to expand its sales overseas.
