Greater Manchester’s Green Summit aims to radically change the way business works across the city region. Make your voice heard at the Business Growth Hub’s breakfast listening event on 7 March.
The Green Summit on 21 March 2018, organised by Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham, will bring together “some of the brightest environmental minds in the UK” and help establish a new ‘Environment Charter’ for the city.
The aim is to make Greater Manchester one of the leading green cities in Europe and explore how the current target to reach carbon neutrality before 2050 could be brought forward.
This will impact the whole of Greater Manchester’s business community, generating a wealth of opportunities, new markets and radical changes to the way local businesses will work - covering everything from energy to transport and heating to material efficiency.
To help local businesses have their say, the Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub is hosting a breakfast listening event which will formally feed into the Summit.
The listening event takes place on 7 March at the Stockport Business and Innovation Centre. To register your interest, click here.
