Innovate 2016, the UK’s annual global spotlight on innovation, will be held in Manchester on 2-3 November 2016, with 3,000 innovators, investors, collaborators and researchers expected to attend.
Delegates will have the opportunity to connect with research partners, export opportunities and investors to help their business to scale and grow, as well as government support schemes.
Over 2,500 delegates attended the 2015 event.
The event programme for 2016 aims to help investors target their investment strategy towards high growth innovative SMEs.
Day one will focus on manufacturing and cities of the future. With manufacturing about to undergo a fourth industrial revolution and growing urbanisation presenting major challenges for cities, delegates will be given practical insights into how businesses can provide solutions and foster innovation in these areas.
Day two will look at health and technologies of the future, where sessions will focus on new technologies in biosciences and emerging areas for entirely new industries such as graphene and quantum technology.
