An annual summit exploring the future of smart manufacturing and factories of the future returns to Manchester Central on 28 February and 1 March.
The Industry 4.0 Summit is the UK’s largest gathering of solution providers, innovators and buyers looking to get ready for the step-change in global manufacturing offered by smart technologies.
The 2017 event was the first of its kind in the UK and was established to give manufacturers the opportunity to understand what Industry 4.0 means for their factory and potential impact it can have on productivity and efficiency.
Emerging trends include advanced data analytics, the ‘Internet of Things’, additive manufacturing, robotics and autonomous systems, simulation, and artificial intelligence - all of which have far-reaching implications for greener manufacturing.
Day one includes a keynote address from government and industry leaders, while day two covers the implementation of Industry 4.0 projects in practice.
