An event at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce on 24 October 2016 will showcase a range of leading technologies that businesses can use to reduce their energy consumption.
Led by Stockport-based firm, Kast Energy Solutions, the all-day event will give businesses the opportunity to learn about different technologies and discuss their requirements with energy experts.
There will be working examples on display from seven different suppliers and manufacturers to demonstrate how their energy saving technologies work, covering:
- Solar PV
- Voltage optimisation
- De-stratification fans
- Heating control systems
- Energy monitoring
- Infrared heating panels
- Battery storage systems.
The technologies are relevant to companies across a wide range of sectors, from manufacturing and engineering to retail and office buildings.
A number of case studies will be available to show how the technologies have benefitted customers across different sectors.
‘Technologies in action’
Adrian Thomas, director of Kast Energy Solutions, said: “We’re putting on this event to allow anyone who consumes energy to come and see, touch and feel the products that we supply and install in action.
“It’s not a brochure, website or email; you can actually see how they operate and discuss the products with the manufacturers and installers. We aim to make this as interactive an experience as possible.”
There will also be an opportunity to win a domestic voltage optimisation unit in the business card raffle.
The event will run from 9.30 – 16.30 at the Chamber’s office in Manchester city centre on Monday 24 October. Bookings are not required. For directions, click here.
