Greater Manchester’s GC Business Growth Hub is hosting a fully-funded workshop led by industry experts on 1 March to show how firms can effectively demonstrate their environmental credentials.
Having a robust environmental policy is now a key requirement of many local and central government tenders, while strong environmental credentials are also key aspects clients and customers are looking for from their suppliers.
Having an environmental policy enables a business to demonstrate its commitment to reducing its environmental impact, which can lead to:
• Increased investment, customer sales and market share
• Improved environmental performance
• Cost savings through efficiency improvements
• Conservation of resources
• Reduced environmental risk.
This workshop, targeted at companies in Greater Manchester, will help delegates to write an effective environmental policy that demonstrates their business’ environmental credentials.
Delegates will leave with an understanding of the environmental issues relevant to their business, practical steps to create and implement an environmental policy or management strategy, and an understanding of how to use environmental credentials and policies to create additional business opportunities.
The workshop will be held at Churchgate House in Manchester city centre from 9.30-11.30am. For more information, click here.
