The Business Growth Hub is hosting a free ‘Meet the Supplier’ event on 25 February for Greater Manchester SMEs interested in investing in low carbon technologies.
The full-day event, which will be held at Sir William Siemens House in Manchester, is designed to help SMEs find out how to capitalise on opportunities to increase profits and reduce energy consumption by investing in new low carbon technology.
Advice and support
Local providers of three sought after technologies - LED lighting, solar PV and heat recovery - will be on hand at the event to present their products and services, along with specialist advisors from the Business Growth Hub’s Green Growth service to provide impartial market intelligence and advice.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear what funding options may be open to them with presentations from three specialist low carbon finance providers: The Carbon Trust, Lombard and Access to Finance.
‘Take the next step’
Amy Glover, low carbon sector advisor at the Business Growth Hub, said: “We meet a lot of SMEs that have identified opportunities to save money and improve environmental performance by investing in new technology, but don’t know how to take the next step.
“This event is a great opportunity to actually meet local suppliers and financiers, make contacts and take that next step to realise those money-saving opportunities.”
