The course will cover:
- The environmental impact of waste

- Waste as a resource
- Understanding and applying the Waste Hierarchy
- Current legislation and ensuring compliance
- How to identify opportunities to reduce waste in the workplace
- Managing resources and wastes in the workplace.
‘Knowledgeable and helpful’
The last session, held in July, helped a number of businesses build their understanding of resource efficient business practice, with one attendee commenting: “The trainer was very knowledgeable and helpful, and had the students participating in questions and answers throughout the course.
“I now have a much better understanding of waste and recycling."
