The fifth annual BusinessGreen Leaders Awards is now open for entries, with over 20 categories to celebrate the UK’s leading businesses and pioneers in the green economy.
The well-known industry awards aims to highlight notable businesses that are driving the emergence of innovative and sustainable new business models and technologies.
The 2015 awards, which will be held in London on 1 July, will focus on ‘action’, with the awards concentrating on businesses and organisations that are presently taking action to tackle environmental risks and seize the opportunities presented by cleaner technologies and business models.
The awards cover every aspect of the green economy, with 22 categories covering everything from transport to energy and from small businesses to multinationals.
Two new categories for 2015 include:
- Employee Engagement Campaign of the Year, open to any business that has made a concerted effort to engage employees and stakeholders in green initiatives, and;
- Marketing/Advertising Campaign of the Year, open to inspiring green marketing or advertising campaigns that have increased customer engagement.
How to enter
Each entry will be judged against three over-arching criteria: innovation, applicability and competitiveness; with the winners selected by a panel of expert judges.
The awards are free to enter, and businesses can apply to as many categories as they wish. The closing date for entries is 5pm on 13 March 2015.
