The seventh annual BusinessGreen Leaders Awards will close for entries on 17 March, with over 20 categories to celebrate the UK’s leading businesses and pioneers in the green economy.
The awards aim to highlight notable organisations in the UK that are undertaking unique work that can be emulated by the wider business community to drive green growth.
The award event in London in June 2017 will bring together over 600 leading politicians, CEOs, sustainability executives and entrepreneurs from across the green economy.
The 24 categories for 2017 cover every part of the green economy, including Small Business of the Year, NGO of the Year and Employee Engagement Campaign of the Year, along with other categories for energy efficiency, transport and circular economy.
Judges include representatives from the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), Innovate UK, the manufacturers’ organisation EEF, and Parliament, among others.
James Murray, editor-in-chief of BusinessGreen, said: “The BusinessGreen Leaders Awards provide a unique platform to highlight the many successes of the green economy, and we want to hear from you and your organisation about the great progress that is being made to enhance our environment and build the resilient, prosperous, and sustainable economy every business wants to see.”
