Many factors impact on business success but the role that our individual attitudes play in bringing about success or failure is perhaps the most overlooked aspect. Psychology Research has explored the individual elements that contribute to business success and has identified that there is a particular mind-set that facilitates success. Sharon De Mascia will introduce the underlying neuropsychology behind a Growth Mind-Set and look at the factors that help facilitate business success.

Sharon De Mascia is the Director of Cognoscenti Business Psychologists Ltd. She is a chartered occupational psychologist and a chartered scientist. She is an expert in well-being, leadership and change and has over 25 years’ experience of delivering change/project management, wellbeing, leadership, entrepreneurship and other organizational initiatives across all sectors e.g. Santander, Movember, the Vita Group, NHS, and ATL etc.

Sharon is a published author and an executive coach as well as being a supervisor for the global MBA at Manchester Business School. Sharon is Prince2 qualified and is a guest lecturer at two Universities i.e. the Manchester Metropolitan University and the Liverpool John Moores University. She also teaches Leadership Psychology at the University of Reykjavik. She is the co-convener of the British Psychological Society ‘Psychology of Health and Wellbeing group’ and a committee member of the Association of Business Psychologists. She is also the Organizer for the CIPD ‘Signet’ group for Independent Consultants and a member of the Manchester CIPD Committee.
