From finding finance solutions to writing board-level recommendations, Clare has enjoyed working with SME's across a variety of sectors for over 15 years. Stemming from a background in retail banking, Clare was a Bank Manager with business lending responsibilities for 7 years. Clare is experienced in working with SME’s from young to mature from small to large and all the highs and lows in between. Clare has a very good understanding of senior-level people management having managed Operational staff and Managers in succession across two retail banking branches.
Qualified to Level 5 CIPD in Human Resource Management. Gemma has extensive HR Advisory experience in employee relations, policy & contract development, TUPE, reward & benefits, and training & development. Gemma has experience in managing teams, driving efficiencies and implementing change. Gemma is now working in a consultancy role providing wide-ranging HR support & advice to SME clients across a range of industries as an Senior HR Advisor.
John joined Stockport Credit Union as CEO last year, and has spent the majority of his career in financial services and in particular within the credit union sector. Credit unions support the financial wellbeing of 2 million people if the UK, offering a safe place to save, and responsible and competitive lending. Stockport Credit Union, like many other credit unions, offers a free employee wellbeing service to employers which allows staff to access services via a simple payroll deduction straight from their salary.
