Date: 15th February 2023
Location: Eccles
Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm
Theme: Operational efficiency, Business Strategy

Sorry this event has already taken place - please see our forthcoming events list

Join us at the AJ Bell Stadium for our Workshop which aims to help SME’s in the manufacturing sector apply simple marketing principles to open up business development opportunities and identify their target market to ensure they effectively communicate to the relevant people. Businesses will gain tips on how to protect their uniqueness and how to plan for and manage opportunities that seemingly come from ‘out of the blue’.   Exhibitions are expensive – whether you are exhibiting or just visiting, businesses will learn how to maximise their time and effort at exhibitions to make it a productive event.

Attendees will gain a better understanding on:

  • How to embed basic marketing principles into their organisation, and develop a communications strategy.
  • How to create opportunity and develop new business.
  • How IP can add value to your business.
  • How to make the cost of exhibitions work harder for you.

John Blaskey

"Making the Case for Face to Face"

John is a successful entrepreneur, owner of a manufacturing business, and is a respected expert in the arena of exhibitions. His speaking style has been described as ‘provocative, inspiring, common sense, and all delivered with a dangerous sense of humour’.

John’s key theme is persuading his audiences to stop hiding behind their screens and engage with their prospects. Face to face is proven to deliver more and better long term business relationships than via on-line methods. In addition, John uncovers how to identify real prospects, how to evaluate them, and how to listen actively to their needs. All of this from someone who understands the mindset of a manufacturing SME.
