Situation analysis

The session with begin with and overview of exchange rates, recent movements and what the experts say about the future.

Importing

Although post covid there many businesses have reviewed their exposure to global supply chains, many businesses rely on goods, raw materials and staff from outside the UK.  We discuss how to evaluate the currency risk associated with these costs and the options available to increase certainty.

Exporting

A weak pound creates opportunities for businesses that sell internationally – we discuss how to evaluate these opportunities and outline low risk operational models that can be adopted to start selling overseas.

By the end of the session, attendees will have a better understanding of:

  • The currency risk their business faces and its implications for profitability
  • Why exporting can provide opportunities for growth
