The session with begin with and overview of exchange rates, recent movements and what the experts say about the future.

Although post covid there many businesses have reviewed their exposure to global supply chains, many businesses rely on goods, raw materials and staff from outside the UK. We discuss how to evaluate the currency risk associated with these costs and the options available to increase certainty.
Exporting
A weak pound creates opportunities for businesses that sell internationally – we discuss how to evaluate these opportunities and outline low risk operational models that can be adopted to start selling overseas.

Phil Blair, Global Scaleup
Philip started his career as a management consultant where he worked across a range of sectors including utilities, online banking, transport, manufacturing and telecoms. Philip started and scaled up the European operation for a global consumer technology business. He has lived in the US, Denmark and Turkey and worked extensively across Europe, Middle East and Asia.
