This workshop is one of a two-part Selling Internationally Bootcamp series. For more information click here.
This session will give attendees the tools to improve communication for conversations and negotiations in English with clients or colleagues who speak other first languages.
We will explore how to get your ideas across clearly in written and spoken situations. This will help with negotiations, relationship building, and dealings with clients and colleagues. You will learn how to adapt your style to reduce miscommunication and language problems when working with those who speak other first languages.
This three-hour bootcamp will cover:
- An introduction to International English, what it is, why we should use it, and how it will improve your business communications.
- The importance of this in marketing content and static written communications, including websites and other marketing collateral.
- Knowledge of common miscommunication issues and the tools to overcome these in different areas of their professional lives.
The workshop will be delivered by Kellie Noon with her business Onno Training. Kellie Noon is the founder of Onno, a UK-based consultancy specialising in global communications and business. Kellie strongly believes in the importance of developing lasting connections through real understanding of local differences and genuine engagement.
