Modern Slavery Awareness workshop & panel discussion

This highly informative session will provide you with a solid definition of what Modern Slavery is, types of exploitation, the indicators of modern slavery and spotting the signs, how to refer/escalate your concerns and what improvements you can make in your business and respective supply chains to ensure safe working to tackle modern slavery. 

The session will be hosted on Livestorm as a Webinar by Geoff Crossley and Matt Richardson of the Business Growth Hub, and will include guest speakers to form part of a panel discussion and Q&A section. The session and discussion will help to shine a light on business practices, and explain the ramifications and scrutiny SME’s face throughout its supply chain from larger businesses failing to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions via the hosting platform which will be monitored and put forward to the panel.

All timings should be considered approximate – content should be managed to best meet the needs of the group and to maintain pace and engagement.

The workshop would be ideal for businesses and individuals who would like to increase their understanding of Modern Slavery and further understand the role that we all have in combating slavery and trafficking.  This will be of particular interest to Directors, HR Managers, Compliance professionals, Managers with CSR or ethical responsibilities, Buyers & Supply Chain Managers, and aims to provide business leaders increase their understanding of what modern slavery is and develop business strategies to help eradicate it.
