This Innovation masterclass will provide knowledge and information on 3D printing and rapid prototyping through a participative and provocative session working with PrintCity at Manchester Metropolitan University, drawing on their experience in new product development with two key objectives in mind:
- To identify and demonstrate the role of rapid prototyping, including 3D printing in new product and service development;
- To show how prototyping can reduce risk, cost, and increase market share and lifetime product revenues.
