This highly informative session will provide you with a solid definition of what Modern Slavery is, types of exploitation, the indicators of modern slavery and spotting the signs, how to refer/escalate your concerns and what improvements you can make in your business and respective supply chains to ensure safe working to tackle modern slavery.

The session, which will include speakers Terence O’Rorke from the Slave-Free Alliance and Simon Horsfield, a partner at gunnercooke, aims to shine a light on how the Modern Slavery Act 2015 impacts businesses and the role of businesses in tackling these crimes.

The workshop would be ideal for businesses and individuals who would like to increase their understanding of Modern Slavery and further understand the role that we all have in combatting slavery and trafficking.  This will be of particular interest to Directors, HR Managers, Compliance professionals, Managers with CSR or ethical responsibilities, Buyers & Supply Chain Managers, and aims to provide business leaders increase their understanding of what modern slavery is and develop business strategies to help eradicate it.
