This highly informative session will provide you with a solid definition of what Modern Slavery is, types of exploitation, the indicators of modern slavery and spotting the signs, how to refer/escalate your concerns and what improvements you can make in your business to ensure safe working and tackle modern slavery.

Former Police Officer John Piekos will be delivering the session, providing his expert knowledge and experience of the current landscape and help to support you to create a modern slavery audit of your business.

The session will also feature Katie Kinloch, Principle Knowledge lawyer for Addelshaw Goddard LLP who specialises in advising businesses on how to comply with the supply chain transparency provisions of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
