Are you a team leader/superviser/junior manager or new to staff management?  Would you like to develop your leadership and management skills? If so this specifically designed development programme may be for you. This programme will also benefit those who are more experienced in staff management but have not received any formal training.

Why attend?

The most consistent conerns of owner/managers of SMEs revolve around how to have less involvement in the day-to-day activities to allow them time to focus on the development and growing of the business.

It is critical therefore that the owners/managers have enough confidence in their employees that hold some sort of management responsibility, knowing that the day-to-day activities are in safe hands and that targets will be met within budget, timescales and to the correct standard. This programme helps participants to acquire essential knowledge, develop key skills and self-confidence to manage and lead their teams.

You'll take part in four interactive workshops. The workshops will also provide opportunities for sharing practice and knowledge with other business managers and leaders.

The Participant Experience

Participants will form part of a learning group and will be encouraged and stimulated to challenge themselves. They will be encouraged to avoid blandness and develop into the type of leader that people want to work and perform well for.  Using a blend of theory, interactive group exercises, reflective and collaborative learning and case studies, we will look at a combination of skills and behaviours designed to increase confidence, developing a more effective manager / leader. Coaching will focus on transferring learning to the workplace and provide participants with the opportunity to drive forward business growth through effective leadership and management.

Please note - attendance at all four of the workshops is compulsory as is a pre-programme 1:1 meeting to discuss your business growth needs with one of our advisors. All the workshop dates and content can be found below. They will all be taking place at the same venue.
