Something we in the Hub often hear is running a business can sometimes can make you feel isolated.

Each business has its own unique challenges and obstacles to overcome, but these are very relatable concerns. Many business leaders will have faced and conquered similar issues. Learning about others' challenges can help make you feel not so alone in business.

At Recharge: Oldham, we’ve partnered with Oldham Enterprise Trust to bring together a panel of the area’s business leaders to discuss the pressing issues facing the business community and to share advice based on their experiences.

You will hear from a diverse range of businesses, including:

Paul Sheerin, Founder of Defiance Gin, a boutique distillery and winners of a prestigious Gold award from the San Francisco World Spirits Awards 2018.

Carita Smith, Director of Funky Fitness and Fun, a not for profit community interest company set up to engage the local community and keep members fit and healthy, try new things, socialise and gain confidence.

Dan Mounsey, Marketing Manager for Hills Panel Products, a leading manufacturing supplier to the fitted furniture industry across the UK for over 28 years.

There will be the opportunity to ask your own questions to the panel as well.

You will also be able to network with the Greater Manchester business community.

Book your place and put the date in your calendar to make sure you don’t miss out on this event!

After last year's panel discussion proved to be popular, as part of Oldham Festival we're partnering with Oldham Council and be running another discussion with a panel of successful Oldham-based business leaders. They'll be covering a range of topics and providing advice based on their experiences.
