Manchester Cyber Solutions to Manchester Cyber Problems

Technology plays an ever-greater role in life and business, so it has become a primary target for criminals and competing nations. Almost half of all crimes are now cyber-related. We’ve seen cybercrime threaten businesses, elections and personal privacy in just the last twelve months, placing cyber security high on the agenda for government and businesses in the UK.

The response to this growing threat will come in part from Greater Manchester.

This event will bring together innovative SMEs with large companies and universities. After the forum you will have the opportunity to join workshops where large companies share their cyber security challenges. These workshops aim of foster collaboration between large companies and SMEs: helping you enter their supply chains.

You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Hear from Phil Swan, CIO, Greater Manchester Combined Authority as well as leaders from businesses and academia.

  • See a live demonstration of ethical cyber hacking.

  • Network with key individuals in the cyber security sector.
