GC Business Growth Hub has launched an exciting new grant to help Greater Manchester SMEs reduce their energy costs through implementing energy efficient technologies.
This new grant is aimed at smaller projects, with a 50% contribution towards the cost of energy saving equipment. We’d expect your project to cost in the region of £2,000 (excluding installation and VAT), for which you’d receive a grant of £1,000. But if it’s much less than this don’t worry, still get in touch with us.
As a supplier of energy efficiency technologies, the grant can be used as a stimulus for your clients who might not be eligible for our larger Carbon Reduction Grant offer. This grant requires only one quote to be submitted and can be assessed through a short online form. Eligibility will be assessed within 24 hours.
The grants are available for a limited time on a first-come first-served basis, and we’re particularly keen to engage with customers who can immediately move ahead with the project after approval.
Benefits to your clients:
- Save up to 50% on future annual costs
- Know within 24 hours whether eligible for funding
- Help to make Greater Manchester one of the leading green cities in Europe
- Help to demonstrate their green credentials to customers
This event is intended for existing Low Carbon Network Members (and those wishing to join the network) who supply energy efficient technologies into the Greater Manchester area. During the briefing we will outline the guiding principles, the key criteria and the application process, with a Q&A session to address any outstanding issues. There will also be an overview of other grants and financial incentives which are currently available. We have set time aside for 1-2-1 sessions to discuss individual concerns or opportunities with the team at the end of the session.
