Join us in Oldham for a panel discussion with three prominent businesses
At GC Business Growth Hub, we’re very proud of the relationship we’ve had with Oldham Council since we started.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Oldham Business Awards. Looking back, it’s incredible how much has changed in those 10 years.
From a shifting political landscape to major challenges including the recession and Brexit, Greater Manchester businesses have proved to be extremely resilient.
As part of the Oldham Festival For Business 2018, on 25 May we’ll be hosting a panel discussion with some of the top business names in Oldham.
Already confirmed for the panel are Ian Taylor, founder and CEO of corporate event specialists Team Spirit, and Jonathan Beardmore, IFA at Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisors.
Ian has grown Team Spirit from a team of two to a 50-staff strong business that designs and delivers more than 250 events per year to some of the world's best known brands, including Manchester United, Virgin and Apple. They’ve recently moved into a new 4,600 sqm HQ in Oldham, where our event is taking place.
Pearsons is one of the leading law firms in the North West, with three offices in North Manchester. Jonathan has worked in the financial services industry for over 13 years, specialising in providing investment strategies for his clients to reduce costs and improve their performance. He is also a popular podcaster as one of the presenters of Last Week in Brexit and the Eggchasers rugby podcast.
