Does your business face the challenge of miscommunicating with colleagues and clients whose first language is not English or are from different cultures to your own?

This challenge is often a result of differences in the style of language we use but can also result from the approach that different cultures have to the workplace and interpersonal relationships.

This new workshop is delivered by experts in communication and international education and will:

  •  Help you to understand why problems can arise when we communicate in English and give you the skills to easily adapt your language to ensure you are communicating as effectively as possible
  • Guide you in identifying how different cultures, including your own, might impact your workplace and to show you how you can adapt to enhance communication and ensure high quality productivity in multicultural and multilingual environments

Who should attend?

Leaders, managers and employees in Greater Manchester who work with businesses in other countries and/or have team members or colleagues from different cultures to their own.

Format

The workshop will include interactive group exercises and case studies.
