Smartphones, Apps and Social Media have had a profound impact on lifestyles in the last 10 years. The government are placing great emphasis on the use of digital technologies to improve the quality and amount of healthcare that can be delivered from the NHS budget.
Although there is support at the highest level to digitise the NHS, the realities of getting your digital product trialled and/or adopted within the NHS are less attractive. The digital health workshop is an exciting opportunity to understand some of the practical issues and will provide examples of successful digital innovators from the GM region who have overcome these difficulties.
